Why Statistics? We're "saving the world one data set at a time." I say this with a laugh, but in my short statistics career I've already worked on problems related to archeology, toxicology, astronomy, ecology, psychology, neurology, forensic science, chemical engineering, climate change and more. Statistics is widely used, and in my case, was the right option for someone interested in everything.
