There is already a very rich source of web-material
for Stat 330. I'd prefer not to post my lecture notes on the Web because
the major contents of my notes will be very similar to any other professor's,
although everyone has a different approach to delivering that material.
Instead, I highly recommend jotting notes in class (which is different
from hand-COPYING every letter and number I project onto the screen), or
looking at my slides during my office hours.
For this course we use SAS to analyze data. I will not spend
too much class time on going over software usage. Most PC's and Mac's on
campus (assignment labs in the AQ, Statistics workshop, and 2nd floor of
the Bennett Library) are equipped with SAS. You will need to go over the
SAS introduction for PC's
or Mac's
at your own time. The examples (available as links) in this introduction
are particularly helpful! You may also find the online
SAS documentation useful.
